Painting & Drawing Class with Lee Steadman

Have you always wanted to learn to draw but never knew where to start? Maybe you want to learn to paint like Rembrandt but thought it an impossible goal. Perhaps you are an artist and are simply looking for a way to elevate your work to the next level.

It's never too late to learn, and we want to help you get there while having fun!

Internationally acclaimed artist, Lee Steadman will be teaching individualized drawing and painting classes every Thursday at Traditions unlimited.

Skill level:

These classes are open to people of all skill levels, from beginner to intermediate.

Class size:

Classes will be limited to 10 people, so Lee has the ability to work with everyone on a one on one basis. The class will focus on the specific skill you want to improve or learn and you will be able to work at your own pace.

When are the classes:

Our class's will be Thursdays from 10am-Noon, beginning on March 4th

additional classes may be added based on demand.

Do I need to commit to multiple classes:

Absolutely not!

What do I need to bring:

Basic drawing and painting supplies will be provided, as well as coffee.

If you have your own supplies you would like to work with, bring them along! Maybe you have a box of old paints in basement and don't know if they are any good. Lee will look through your supplies for you and tell you what to keep and what to ditch.

Feel free to bring any artwork you have created for Lee to look over and critique.

Price:

Individual class-$30

Book 4 classes up front for $100 (save $5 per class)

About Lee Steadman:

Lee Steadman captures his love of the outdoors in watercolor. Steadman’s paintings are found in private and permanent museum collections including the New York State Museum, the Cincinnati Museum of Natural History, the Leigh Yawkey-Woodson Art Museum, and the Smithsonian's Museum of Natural History. He has contributed art for National Geographic and Illustrated books for Fred Rogers (Mr. Rogers) among many others. Beyond his watercolor paintings, in his position as the director of BLOOM Collaborative at Stairways Behavioral Health in Erie, PA, Steadman incorporated 24 years as an artist, an arts educator and an environmentalist into creating a healing arts center titled BLOOM Collaborative. A holistic approach to wellness recognizing the healing power of creativity, mindfulness, and environment.
